Project Overview
Introduction
This three-year project involves the replacement of approximately 77,000 public lights across 21 local authorities and 24 municipal districts. The project is projected to deliver energy and maintenance savings of up to €48 million for the participating local authorities over the next two decades. As the Senior Commercial Manager, our role was to lead the commercial interface with the NEC Project Manager and manage all subcontractors. The main contract for this project was based on NEC 4 Option C.

Conclusion
Through expert commercial management and a deep understanding of the NEC4 contract, we successfully navigated the complexities of this large-scale, multi-authority project. Our role was critical in ensuring smooth communication, financial certainty, and the effective management of all contractual obligations.
